I'm in a bit of a reading slump and given I have 3 weeks off work, I need to get out of it! I just can't seem to find anything that is compelling enough to get me back into it. I'll read almost any genre (including non-fiction), though I am not a huge fan of the classics or horror (though I'm still open to them). For context, the last thing that got me out of a reading slump was Hank Green's An Absolutely Remarkable Thing. Some other things I've read relatively recently and enjoyed include:
- Circe by Madeline Miller
- A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green
- The Ghost Woods by CJ Cooke
Things I've already tried to read but just can't seem to get into right now:
- The Grip of Film by Richard Ayoade
- A Thousand Ships by Natalie Haynes
- Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
- Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge
- Like four other books by CJ Cooke
Halp! Thank you in advance!
