    Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a recommendation for books that the villain gets the girl or enemies to lovers. Everytime I search, its mainly fantasy. I write fantasy so I like to separate what I write from what I read. I like sci-fi and dystopian so I'll read those!

    Thanks in advance!

Sam Mariano has a series called the Morelli Family. The first book is Accidental Witness. It’s about a mafia crime family in Chicago. The Heroine accidently sees the Mafia guys go in to kill her drug abusing neighbors. And she gets caught up in their life. But it’s not a Sci-Fi or Dystopian book.

      And there’s

Hold by Claire Kent, this is a Sci-Fi dark romance, but I don’t think the hero is a villain. It’s been awhile since I read it, but I think I remember him being kinda of a good guy stuck in a bad situation. In this world, any and all crimes will get you sentenced to a prison planet. Men and Women are dumped there together. No separation. Minor crimes and Major crimes alike. So the main female character well, she’s no dummy she finds the strongest guy there to protect her in exchange for you know what. Sounds outlandish, till we recall what the British did to convicted women in the 1700’s. They wanted Australia colonized, but realized they had too many men and not enough women….. So they started to send women of reproductive years to Australia for minor crimes. Stealing some spoons was one case. When the women got there, they had to make a choice, for protection they had either cons or guards to choose from. 🙁

If you’re looking for books where the “villain” or morally gray character ends up with the girl, here are some of my favorites:

      1. ”The Mindf*ck Series” by S.T. Abby – This series is about a serial killer who falls for the FBI agent hunting her. It’s dark, intense, and filled with morally ambiguous characters.

      2. “Hooked” by Emily McIntire – A dark, modern retelling of “Peter Pan,” where the Captain Hook-inspired character is ruthless and falls for Wendy.

      3. ”The Maddest Obsession” by Danielle Lori – This book features a mafia romance with a brooding, morally gray hero who becomes obsessed with the heroine.

      4. “Haunting Adeline” by H.D. Carlton – This dark romance follows Adeline, an author, who becomes the obsession of a stalker. Zade, the anti-hero, is dangerous and morally questionable.

      5. “The Fine Print” by Lauren Asher – In this contemporary enemies-to-lovers romance, the hero is a grumpy billionaire with a cold exterior, while the heroine is a sunshine-y character who breaks down his walls.

These books all feature intense, dark, and sometimes twisted relationships where the “villain” or morally gray character ends up with the girl.
