I know this is where people suggest books but I’m very tired of asking for books with no spice and people start with a series like Throne of Glass. That has SPICE! I can’t turn to booktok cause everyone suggests at least one series that has spice and I’m not looking for that.

I’m looking for any mystery/thriller, fantasy or romance with either a romance subplot or romance IS the plot. If there’s no romance I won’t read it (I find it boring I’m sorry 😭😭)

Books I’m looking forward to reading are books like Powerless and Divine Rivals. High tension but no spice. There’s still that banter between characters but none of the spice.

Best Friends Parent (I’m ok with certain age gaps but sometimes I’m not.)

I personally love me a good grovel, enemies to lovers, billionaire romance, friends to lovers, best friends brother, Roomate/Neighbor/ Single parent, marriage of convenience, arranged marriage, slow burn, Grumpy x Sunshine, star crossed lovers, Fake Dating and forced Proximity 💕💕

If there are any no spice romance books with Plus size or Mid size rep LMK PLEASE!!
