New reader, too many books

I (24M) am looking for books that might get me interested in reading again.

I do not think I have seriously read since middle school. 2 books I remember absolutely loving are hatchet and where the red fern grows. Other than that, I have only really read Harry Potter and a couple game of thrones books.

Recently- I have been very into business minded self help books. Rich dad poor dad, how to make friends and influence people, things like that.

I am looking for something that I can pick up and not want to put down. I am huge into computer gaming so that takes up much of my time and I hope to get less screen time out of this.

Will be going to a book store later today to research some suggestions 🙂
