I’m going through the hardest breakup of my life right now and everything seems to be a trigger. I typically read really depressing, existential stuff, which obviously causes me even more despair.
I want to start reading more before bed because that’s usually when I start to get really bad thoughts, so I need something light.
I’m open to reading books for children and YA or even something psychological, just as long as it’s well written. I struggle with fantasy, but I’m open to it. I’d prefer not to read about any violence against women or toxic relationships. Unrealistic YA relationships are fine, I guess, haha.
I know this is super specific, but I’m really struggling, so if you have any recommendations, please send them my way!
