Currently fixated on:
-American history (revolutionary, early American west, indigenous ETC)
-WW1, WW2
-CIA/intelligence/true spy stories or histories
-generally any really interesting stories, people or histories will get me going and despite my multiple mentions of “America” I am not limited to interest in only those relating directly to that country or people.

For non-fiction about spies, you can’t go wrong with **The Spy and the Traitor** by Ben Macintyre.
Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee by Dee Brown. Excellent study of an infamous Indigenous massacre.
Rising Tide (The Great Mississippi Flood of 1927 and How It Changed America) by John Barry. Title says it all.
