A local bookstore has recently announced they are starting 2 book clubs, a literary fiction book club and a genre book club. They've announced the first book for the genre book club as "A Psalm for the Wild Built".
I'm confused by the use of "genre book club"…they are not saying this is a SciFi book club or cozy book club, just "genre book" club. What genre? Does "genre book" now mean something specifically? Am I just out of the loop?
