I love Douglas Adams but can’t get myself to enjoy Terry Pratchett no matter how hard i try (the most I liked of his is witches aboard). Instead I recently discovered Tom Holt and truly enjoy his writing style, but I’m running out of his books. Who are similar authors I can explore?

Jasper Fforde: I found thursday next series hard to get into, but really enjoyed the first few books eventually

Robert Rankin: I tried the Antipope, the humour didn't sit well with me since it included casual sexual harassament, i guess it was ok in the 90s but aged badly

I think what I truly enjoy about Tom holt is the overlap of fantasy into the mundane, and the pacing which stays relatively the same until the end. Thanks in advance!
