I'm usually into classics, but I'm not necessarily looking to read one right now. I really appreciate beautiful writing, more than the topic itself. Some of my favorite authors include Jorge Luis Borges, Mircea Eliade, Goethe, Hermann Hesse, Umberto Eco, Nietzsche, Rimbaud, Proust, and Amin Maalouf. The last book I really enjoyed was East of Eden. What I enjoy in a book varies, but I’m a big fan of deep dialogue and poetic language. I'm in the mood for something with intriguing characters this time. Any recommendations? Again, it doesn't have to be a classic. Thanks in advance 🙂
