looking for some book recommendations. i like books that are long, but not too difficult to get through. also not interested in smut (sorry), and i feel like that limits some of the options i get from friends.
i run a book club and the most recent books we’ve read are the maid (which i enjoyed), foster (too dense for me), gone girl (loved), sharp objects (too gorey for me), dark places (same thing), and the ballad of songbirds and snakes (which i enjoyed) if that helps give an idea of preferences.
im looking specifically for a book to suggest for october- so maybe sci fi or thriller (though not to scary preferably) but also just in general! i used to love reading when i was younger, and i’d like to get back into it with some “can’t put it down” type books.
