Hi, I have taken and interest in cults and their mechanics, due to persistent events in global politics.
Reading about them I was fascinated by the explanation of the Jehovah's Witnesses proselitism as a system to reinforce the indoctrination through negative stimuli from the society outside of the cult.
When I read about it, I was astounded: it was so simple, and yet i would've never guessed it! It was like understanding a Ponzi scheme.
I am looking for books where similar social devices are described, if you know any.
