I remember reading a novel around 1989 about a lone castaway stranded on a deserted island. I can't recall the title. Jules Verne's The Mysterious Island doesn't seem right because there are multiple characters on the island. The only other possibility I know of is Robinson Crusoe. Are there any other castaway books out there published before 1989?
