I just started reading again since school. I was never a fan of reading in general, but I’m starting to think that’s because my school required awful material.
I just finished The Silent Patient, and I LOVED it. I know this is an unpopular opinion for avid readers, but if you guys know of anything that’s similar in the psychological thriller or horror sense, I’m all ears. I need the book to be a page turner or else I lose interest. I also just finished The Watchers and The Cabin at the End of the World if that helps?
Someone recommend me a banger! Ty ty

If you haven’t read it (or watched the movie or know the twist), you *have* to read **Gone Girl** by Gillian Flynn. It will make the twist in *Silent Patient* look like it was written by a five year old.
A lot of people also love **Sharp Objects** and **Dark Places**, also by Flynn. They are really good, dark, psychological thrillers, but they don’t really have a crazy twist so they were a bit of a let down for me (honestly after *Gone Girl*, it’s hard to not compare every psycho-thriller to it and be a bit disappointed).
Some other pretty good twists in the genre though:
– **The Girl on the Train** by Paula Hawkins
– **The Woman in the Window** by AJ Finn
– **Mad Honey** by Jodi Picoult
Oh and editing to include **Horror Movie (A Novel** by Paul Tremblay. He also wrote *Cabin at the End of the World* so I think you’d like it.
