We're about to embark on a trip around BC and Alberta, which will include a couple weeks of driving. What I'm looking for is a book to listen to that's set in the general region, either a classic or something lesser known. Preferably fiction, love a good story, but would also be open to recs that are based on true stories. Would especially love suggestions of Indigenous authors!
You know how authors like Edward Abbey, George Steinbeck, Annie Proulx, etc are so place specific? Who comes to mind for Southern Alberta and BC?
