I'm looking for a book that may be similar to "power of now", but written in more accessible / less spiritual language. Maybe focused on anxiety / mental performance / science / psychology.
Specifically, when dealing with anxious thinking – my mind tends to worry about possible future scenarios or revisit past events from a negative perspective. It takes me away from the present moment, and agency.
I'd like to learn more practical ways to stay present.
Any suggestions?
