I’m going home after spending a few months with my partner and the stress of having to be apart again coupled with a 9 hour flight is all way too much for me.
I’m looking for a book that’s easy and lighthearted, and ideally funny. Something to snap me out of the sadness a bit.
Thank you to anyone who has any recommendations!

Dave Barry Is Not Making This Up or Dave Barry’s Greatest Hits
A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella
The Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, maybe Witches Abroad or Guards! Guards!
I will always say **True Grit** by Charles Portis for a plane ride.
