I hope I'm getting this across correctly. I want all the stuff that comes in an epic fantasy, but I want the world to be Earth. Society, politics, culture, and maybe even geography have changed to the point where the epic fantasy worldbuilding is still needed and warranted, but I still want the relics of the Earth we recognize to come through. And magic. Magic needs to be there.
I've been really struggling to find something like this that's relatively recent.
