Memoir(s) about experiences in gay conversion(/aversion) camps set during the 1980s-early 90s.

I'm looking for some inspiration/source material for a character in a writing project whose parents bring her to such a camp, and would like the portrayal of practices and reflection years later to be as accurate as possible.
