What book by Fyodor Dostoevsky should I read next White Nights, The Idiot, or Crime and Punishment?
I am almost finish reading The Brothers Karamazov and so far itβs so good ππ». I am torn on what I should read next. Do you have any suggestions on what order should I read his novels?
C&P. Itβs his one true must read. I loved The Idiot. But Crime and Punishment is an important novel.

Iβm gonna suggest White Nights, then Crime&Punishment! Itβs a shorter book but itβs one of those books that I find myself still thinking about even years later. Itβll be like a little snack break before you delve into the meal that is C&P

Read White Nights first. Itβs a bit different from Dostoevskyβs other novels. I read it almost a year ago and I still cannot stop thinking about it. How two lonely people can meet and have such a special connection. The story is so heartbreaking yet there is a sense of hope in it.
My favourite line from the book is – βIf you ever fall in love, then may God grant you happiness with her! But I wonβt wish her anything, because she will be happy with you!β

I loved The Idiot
C&P is great. Much simpler structure than TBK.
