Like the title says. I’ve been itching to read a good sci-fi/fantasy about AI but instead of AI doing manual labor or helping life get easier for humans like everyone thought it should be doing, it’s used to replace creativity and used to steal art, write stories, etc. “we were so caught up in if we could, and never stopped to consider if we should” type of scenario. I would love if it had a happy ending of some kind too. Bonus points if it’s 5+ years old or has diverse cast, and is YA/NA genre.

I recently read the scythe series and loved how it reimagined the cloud we use now and didn’t have an “AI turns evil” plot but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for (even though I loved every book in that series and would def recommend)
