Hi everyone!
I really want to give my brother a special book for Christmas. I moved a few years ago from the US to live in Germany and ever since then, I have always encouraged my brothers to seek out education and job opportunities that would also let them see new places. One of my brothers in particular is always trying to plan a new trip (backpacking Camino de Santiago, bikepacking across Germany, seeing the Baltic states) and partially chose his current engineering position due to the international focus of the company. I think he might just need a bit of inspiration to really go for these new things.
I recently saw a book called “You Deserve Good Gelato: Reasons to Travel the World, Embrace Failure, and Do the Sh*t That Scares You.” I think the title and concept are very cute and might inspire him a bit. Has anyone read this book? If so, do you think it would be a good fit for a guy in his early 20s? Can anyone please recommend a book which might be similar to this, which encourages people to travel alone or go outside their comfort zone?
I am already so proud of my brother. He just talks a lot about his big plans, and I think he needs a small nudge ❤️
Thanks in advance for your help!
