Fast-paced globe (or galaxy) trotting thriller

I love fast-paced mystery, sci fi or spy novels and am looking for more to read. I’m flexible on genre but I really want to read something with an exciting plot, an ensemble cast of characters and a lot of settings over the course of the story.

In the past I’ve loved speculative fiction like Neal Stephenson’s “Cryptononicon” and “Reamde” but haven’t been as into his more recent work. I’ve also recently enjoyed The Expanse series and the novel “The Vanished Birds.”
