I have a copy of the NRSV Bible which contains the deuterocanonical texts, as accepted by the Catholic and Orthodox churches, but I'm interested in finding texts not accepted as canonical, but still rather interesting for an insight into Jewish thought in the period before the New Testament emerged. Things like the books of Enoch, Giants, Jubilees, and stories like the Life of Adam and Eve, and Joseph and Aseneth.
Are there decent translations and collections of these, or potentially books about them and their impact accessible for a lay-reader?
