I want a slow and long book that you consider boring, but not because it is poorly written or because the author describes in too much detail enviroments, routinary actions… but because it feels like "nothing happens" or advances in plot are very subtle. If it focuses deeply on characters feelings or internal intentions that adds too

I do not personally feel this way about this book it is one of my all time favorites haha, but what you are describing is a common complaint I see about it so figured it fits, it also heavily focuses on the protagonists internal feelings etc.

Stoner by John Williams is the classic nothing happens book. Though I loved it and didn’t find it boring there is very very limited ‘plot’ happening.

    4. i love both if these books but they are subdued as hell
