Hi everyone, I used to be a prolific (read: obsessive) reader but nothing had been grabbing my attention recently. However, my phone broke on Sunday (embarrassing reason to get back into reading i know), and by Monday morning at 8 I had finished Into The Wild. That book grabbed my attention and wouldn't let go. I've already put a hold on into thin air, I'm looking for suggestions of other books with similar writing styles to Krakauer's. I'm not married to the true story type of book, but I love for lack of a better word "disaster media" about like mountain climbing, cave diving, etc. where the world just swallows a person. I also enjoy true crime, thrillers, and mysteries, but haven't found anything with the kind of breakneck pacing I enjoy.
