Hi. I’m looking for your favorite books/podcasts that address burnout, compassion fatigue, and how to better manage work/life balance.
I’m a behavior analyst (I know we have a terrible rap) but I try hard, maybe too hard, to be a different kind of BCBA. Without getting into the nitty gritty of the stress and pressure of my job- I know I need help balancing this. I feel like I was called for this job and love it so dearly, but I know if I continue to hold the anxiety, worry, and stress on my shoulders, I will absolutely burn out. Intellectualizing this doesn’t stop my constant worry at home that these kids are not okay.
Need lots of tips and strategies to detach from my work.
