I just had the most insanely captivating dream and now i need a book like this! Please help!! Honestly this would make the cheesiest book ever but i am dedicated now lol.
TLDR;
Are there any books about a non-conventional rebellious girl who becomes queen by marrying a king then becomes pregnant and then saves his life from an assassin attempt and loses her baby or becomes close to it?
Full desc:
A girl is adventurous and sassy like most modern fantasy books lol. The girls family is high-ish in the nobility ranks. She falls in love with a prince who is very structured and organized — a classic Prince. But they love each other and it’s going well at first. They get married. Then she finds someone else she realizes she actually loves more. (This part is optional) they slowly fall in love and she feels terrible about it bc the king is such a good guy. She gets pregnant and she is scared but confident bc she’s a great queen and a bad ass. She’s overwhelmed with guilt. The new guy reads her diary that she isn’t sure which guy is the dad.
Blah blah blah…
!!!! This is the part i was captivated by: the king and her are out and about and then BOOM assassination attempt. She saved narrowly saves life.
This brings them closer as she sits by him and worries for his life. I think she lost the baby in the process i can’t remember. They fall back madly in love and she ditched the old guy.
Doesn’t have to be exact but as close as possible. BIG PLUS IF THERE IS MAGIC LORE OR MAGICAL FANTASY!
