if anyone has seen The Empress on netflix, i’m really searching for something similar in literary form— lush imagery, heavy themes, romance, intrigue, politics, etc!!!! i don’t mind YA as long as MCs are over 18 but would prefer adult & hopefully not something TOOO trope heavy. thanks in advance!!
