I am an atheist, materialist and in favor of science. But some scary stuff has been drilled into my head. The other day, I wondered why do people believe in ghosts of dead people visiting them? Have they seen one? Or many people believe thy have seen holy figures returning from dead to visit them. Once case I know if of Virgin Mary in Lourde, France. And the list goes on….Bermuda Triangle where many airplanes are supposedly lost. Maybe even include the religious miracles many people believe in. Ideally one or two chapters devoted to each topic.
Any good candidate for such a book?
