Over the past year, I’ve been reading a lot more books.
Some books were just okay, but then some I absolutely loved.
Could someone provide some recommendations for other books I might like based on the ones I’ve enjoyed so far?
The Brothers Karamazov
– So so good.
The Stranger
– I’ve read all of Camus’ other works, but this is his best for me. The Plague was great too.
East of Eden
– Incredible – just finished this recently.
Flowers for Algernon
– Amazing – one of the few books I could read again and again.
For Whom The Bell Tolls
– Really enjoyed this. Also read ‘The Sun Also Roses’ which was good, but not as good as tolls.
The Dragon Can’t Dance
– book by a Trinidadian author about carnival. Really great. More books from authors of colour would be great.

The Magus by Fowles
Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver.
You seem to enjoy classics with strong writing and a meaning behind the story – Kingsolver’s latest novel is 100% a modern classic!
The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. An absolute masterpiece.
Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse
