Hi everyone,
I've recently finished reading a few books which are set in different places around the world, and it sparked my curiosity to read some more diverse books that are set (or written by authors) from different places around the world.
For context, I recently finished rereading 'My Brilliant Friend' by Elena Ferrante (set in Italy), 'Atonement' by Ian McEwan (set in England and France), and 'God of Small Things' by Arundhati Roy (set in India).
These books have given quite a bit of insight into not only the stories but also the culture, mindset, etc of the countries in which they are set in. I was wondering if anyone on here has some recommendations to diversify my reading in a similar manner?
Thank you in advance to anyone who replies (everything is appreciated!!) 🙂
