Long time fan of twisty crime books by Lisa Jewell. Recently discovered Claire Douglas and read her entire back catalogue in a couple of weeks. Same with Leslie Wolfe.

    I think they are fantastic.

I’ve read all of Frida McFadden, Shari Lapena, Shalini Boland, and while I like their books I think Lisa and Claire are in another league.

Can you recommend any authors, or specific books, that are in that same league as Lisa Jewell and Claire Douglas?

    Thank you!

    1. Lucinda Berry reminds me a lot Freida Mcfadden, in terms of writing style and shock value.

An Anonymous Girl by Greer Hendricks/Sarah Pekkanen

I’ve read a few by BA Paris that were enjoyable- The Breakdown was my favorite.

I’d recommend The Good Samaritan and Keep It In The Family by John Marrs.

Of these recommendations, Keep It In The Family was probably the MOST twisty. I kept thinking it could not possibly twist again, then it did. Several times.
