As the title says, I'm looking for book suggestions that have framed the way you think and see the world. I'm a female in her early 30s from the United States. I just purchased "Thomas Jefferson & Sally Hemings: An American Controversey" by Annette Gordon-Reed and think this will be a good one! Specifically, I'm interested in how different time periods affected where we are today (English Atlantic World, Colonial America, etc). But, other recommendations are welcome as well!
