hello, i used to read a lot of novels but went on a break and ended up reading a lot of manga for a while. i ended up discovering my love for books with extreme depravity, tragedy and overall just psychological messes. i haven’t been able to find a book that meets these criteria, preferably not older than 1990.
for reference, the manga i mean is “kitanai kimi ga ichiban kawaii”, a manga about two girls who are both pretty much insane. i really loved the tragedy and i thought their romance was cute. the whole thing had me depressed af after which i am also looking for.
