Suggest me a book: fiction or non-fiction involving technology

I'm having existential feelings, firstly regarding working in the software world, and secondly not reading books at all now, due to low attention span and being used to instant gratification.

Please recommend a book that has the following must have criteria:

• optimistic look at technology (either in the broad sense or in the specific context of dealing with AI)
• fast paced plot if fiction, or engagingly written if non-fiction
• has been written in english or has english translation available

These are good to have criteria but not necessary:

• at least mixed to positive reviews
• proposes a somewhat unique idea or way of thinking about a topic of the book
• uses beautiful language. e.g vivid descriptions or memorable lines, or stylish writing or evoking strong emotions
