So I'm not sure if this genre is even a thing, or what it would be called, but I find when someone uses an older style of English for humorous effect (often explicit) its hilarious. Two memes come to mind, however since we cannot include links or images I will just type out the words. The first one is the 'Dearest Frederick' meme, which is a black and white photo of a woman writing:
"Dearest Frederick, I received the penile portrait after a fort night. The image is lain against the chesterfield as I may look upon it during self-stimulation. Enclosed I have included a new photograph of my womb entrance. Sincerely, Josephine".
The second is a screenshot of a conversation that appears to have taken place on the gay dating app Grindr and goes something like this:
-Pardon me good sir, I wondered whether you would appreciate assistance in achieving orgasm this evening?
-My desire is tentative. Do you expect to be compensated for these services?
-No sir, I act out of charity alone.
-How gallant! Verily, your assistance would be most welcome. By what means do you intend to encourage my meatus to issue forth its seed?
-It is my desire to imbibe your turgid phallus and fellate vigorously to the point of full release, ceasing only once gratification has been enjoyed to your complete satisfaction.
Tally ho! Proceed henceforth. I shall prepare the bedchamber and eagerly await your arrival, kind stranger!
Are there any books with this kind of humour/writing style? My first thought would be older books that write in this style, but I'm not sure that would work as it seems to be more about using the older style of language for humorous effect.
