I have to go with Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao. Online and on Reddit I’ve seen a lot of hate for this book for many reasons, characters, plot, writing, but for me, this is the book that got me back into reading after about 7-8 years of not reading. It’s a great fantasy read and really gives me a lot of the same feelings that anime does!
