Hi, I’ve recently finished IT by Stephen King and I’m looking for my next book. I’ve been on a big horror binge the last few months and I’m looking to break away from that.
In terms of theme, there’s loads I’d like to read right now. Maybe something with space exploration star trek style, some kind of mythology, alternative history, dystopia or something homoerotic.

Can’t explain why but I’m thinking T. C. Boyle
For sci-fi, try Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey. It’s the first of the Expanse novels.
Some good ones for mythology I’d suggest The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec (Norse) and Circe by Madeline Miller (Greek) also Piranesi by Susanna Clarke was interesting, it’s sort of mythology based but turns sort of sci-fi
And from the books you listed as your favs I think you may like Shark Heart by Emily Habeck
