Looking for something to read with my feet in the sand. I’m a tech and history geek in my late 30s. I read a lot of nonfiction, productivity and business type stuff, and haven’t read many novels. Of the few that I have, I liked Microserfs and JPod by Douglas Coupland and some Chuck Palahniuk. Recently finished Demon Copperhead and loved that, too. Funny enough, for anyone who has read that one, I am going to Virginia Beach.
I’m interested in any recommendations you all may have, but I think I am looking for a short novel/novella regarding length, but that is really the only limit. Hoping for something beach or ocean-related, but not locked in on that.
I am also interested in any good audiobooks for the drive, but that is secondary to a read during the time there.
