Any recommendations for titles where an individual is driven to kill, but is not pleased by the act, and preferably deeply upset by it? Whether they believe their killings are fulfilling some sort of duty, or they are being compelled by forces beyond their control. Thought of this after watching a playthrough of the game "Life Eater," where each year the main character must seek out a new victim to offer as sacrifice to Zimforth, a malevolent deity who threatens to destroy the world if it's demands are ignored, and I was wondering about similar scenarios.
