Hey everyone, I love this sub reddit and have found some of my favorite books here – recent loves are Stoner, A Monster Calls and Me Talk Pretty One Day. Thank you to everyone for sharing loved books.
Does anyone have any existential recommendations – I love Man's Search for Meaning and am most interested in fiction (YA or adult) and lighter non fiction (like Man's Search for Meaning which isn't super dense)?

The Stranger by Albert Camus is one of the more classic existential fiction books, and for good reason. It’s quite great and an easy read with plenty of things to parse through.
The Death of Ivan Ilych by Leo Tolstoy is a short read and is excellent.
The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky is much longer than the others and at times quite dense, but worth the time and effort.
East of Eden by John Steinbeck
