One of my favorite novels of all time. In particular I was wondering about the significance of the color red in the book (granted it’s been a while since I last read it)- I know in a surface level that it equates to death, but I was wondering if there’s any imagery that correlates to the color white in the book which is paired with the red (I was thinking along the lines of the Japanese flag because he really likes the whole “change” theme). Anyone at all who might know something or if you have something interesting to say / discuss about the book please respond (I really love the novel and I’d like to chat about it).
