Book suggestions on mixed racial identity? (Specifically black and white)
I’m 23F: I’ve been trying to read more and I really want a good and deep relating book on being mixed. I can only find books about being mixed that aren’t of my culture. Any recs?
Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor is sci fi/fantasy and kind of intense but the main character is mixed (it is not a positive thing for her tho if you’re looking for that)

Akala – Race and Class in the Ruins of Empire (more autobiographical than that sounds). Akala’s mother is white Scottish and his father was Jamaican black, who left before he was born. He comes from Kentish Town, London. He and his elder sister Ms Dynamite have been successful rap artists.
His political interviews are also great – one hell of a smart guy.

Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime may not be your culture (unless you’re South African!) but it is fantastic.
