I'm dating a guy who wants kids. As a woman, I've always been on the conflicted side of the equation (I'm ambitious, love my job, and I'm the main provider). I'm scared of what it would mean I would give up on.
I'd like to investigate the question more. Could you recommend nonfiction books about motherhood/parenting? Bonus points if it's about ambivalence & making it through, or if it's an anthropological or sociological look at it.
