A book that’s just delightful! I’d love something that is basically just an author’s meandering on strange animal facts, goodness of humanity, art, obscure hobbies, travel, stories- something that feels joyful and curiosity piquing!
Hopefully this isn’t too vague, but if you’ve ever read a book that just made you excited to be alive I’d love to hear about it!

Sounds like you want to read all of Bill Bryson’s books! A Walk in the Woods, In a Sunburned Country, Notes from a Small Island, A Short History of Nearly Everything, One Summer. That’s just a few of them off the top of my head. He’s entertaining, fun and easy to read, and informative.
