Hi all
My partner and I are taking sabbaticals from work and leaving London to travel south east Asia for 5 months at 30 and 31.
We’ve both put a lot into our careers and we are lucky enough that we have the opportunity to go on such an amazing trip and reset our outlooks on life as we head into this new chapter.
I was looking for a book that centres around the theme of travel/growing up and trying to find your place in the universe.
Doesn’t necessarily have to be about travel specifically but something that drops me In to a place I can feel like ‘the sun also rises’ by Hemingway.
My favourite book I have read so far this year is the Goldfinch by Donna Tartt and I also love history books if this helps.
