A few of what I’ve read that fits this bill (but are popular) and I really enjoyed, to set the theme:

    Name of the Wind,
    Blood Song,
    Dungeon Crawler Carl,
    Red Rising,
    Sun Eater,
    Harry Dresden

Loved Sanderson’s books, Robin Hobb’s, Joe Abercrombie’s, etc. as well, but have read almost everything on the “top fantasy & sci/fi lists”

Trying to find some that I wouldn’t have even heard of, where even reading a book a day, I will have something to chew on for a while.

    Any recommendations?
