I know this is a relatively broad ask, but my husband has realized that he likes books with two storylines that converge. Recent examples being The New Life by Tom Crewe and (less so a queer book) Masters of Death by Olivie Blake.
Any recommendations for favorite books that speak to this? Extra credit for LGBTQ+, humorous stories (think Grady Hendrix) and series with multiple books.

*The Great Believers* by Rebecca Makkai has two storylines which intersect. It’s a beautiful book, and one of my favorite works of contemporary fiction. Definitely not humorous, though.
I just started “This is how you lose the time war”, and it is shaping up to fill this niche.
If he‘s willing to read YA – I found *Will Grayson, Will Grayson* very sweet (def LGBTQ+ and I think humorous!)
