I am looking for a well-written book about negotiating for normal people in everday situations; such things as how to negotiate on the private sale (or purchase) of a car, or how to strategise asking for a pay incease.
Not interested in books by CEOs, hostage negotiators or with examples of how to broker a peace treaty etc.
Can be from any era although modern is preferred.
