I read Murakami and really enjoyed his work, but I got bored of that super strange vibe. I liked the amount of things happening, I liked the existentialism, I liked the relaxed, casual way everything flows and the style it does so in, and I liked the content. The weirdness and how it stays the same through most his work got a bit boring to me.
Before that I used to enjoy Stephen king. But again got bored. I recently tried Terry pratchett, found it too childish and small scale. I've tried classics, I couldn't stick to them. Any recommendations? I enjoy mature content, existentialism, surrealism and fantasy on a big scale and some meaning to works.
